The BullDog Pure activator may be the only activators you'll ever need. This is our own product, developed and manufactured in the UK, and as far as we know, the ONLY 100% UK activator. Tested over and over on the most traditionally awkward films as well as the everyday go-to patterns.
Don't think the price means it's a lower quality product. Because this has been developed here in the UK and is manufactured here too, there is no supplier taking a profit, no international shipping costs, and no import fees to cover and we are delighted to pass those savings on to our customers. It costs you less for one reason only, it costs us less because we don't have to pay out for those additional costs which other activators have to cover.
We previously sold three different strengths of this activator but after lots of feedback from dippers all over the country, we decided to shelve the standard and Ultra variants. Neither sold particularly well, and the Extra sat in the sweet spot between them both anyway. If you really preferred the super-mild formulation of the standard Pure, simply add a litle below 10% of pure xylene to the activator. The only difference between the three products was the percentage of xylene in the mixture so adding that small amount of xylene will convert it almost exactly.
